Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to support the execution of engineering and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that project activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical site experience, and the ability to coordinate resources and resolve site-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Monitor construction, installation, and project execution activities to ensure timely completion.
• Review drawings, layouts, method statements, and technical documentation before work begins.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify site issues, coordinate corrective actions, and report technical concerns to the project team.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
• Ensure compliance with approved work procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and quality control personnel.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection documents, and other project documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, delays, and technical issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, and project handover activities where applicable.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
• Qualifications must meet the employer's requirements for the position.

Experience

• Relevant experience in site supervision, construction, installation, or engineering project execution.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission lines, or related projects is an advantage.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of site execution procedures, inspection processes, and quality control.
• Understanding of construction methods, material requirements, and work planning.
• Familiarity with site reporting and documentation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, where required.
• Awareness of site safety procedures and applicable project standards.

The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting, depending on project requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience coordinating with project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, layouts and technical specifications.
• Monitor installation of electrical panels, cabling, lighting, earthing and power distribution systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation and other project teams.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Monitor material requirements, equipment usage and work schedules.
• Ensure adherence to site safety requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site supervisors.
• Support project handover, documentation and maintenance activities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Diploma holders may be considered if permitted by the employer and suitable for the role.

Experience

• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, project execution, installation or maintenance.
• Experience in the relevant industry or project type is preferred.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, where required.
• Knowledge of applicable Saudi electrical codes and project standards is an advantage.
