Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to support the execution of engineering and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that project activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical site experience, and the ability to coordinate resources and resolve site-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Monitor construction, installation, and project execution activities to ensure timely completion.
• Review drawings, layouts, method statements, and technical documentation before work begins.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify site issues, coordinate corrective actions, and report technical concerns to the project team.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
• Ensure compliance with approved work procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and quality control personnel.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection documents, and other project documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, delays, and technical issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, and project handover activities where applicable.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
• Qualifications must meet the employer’s requirements for the position.

Experience

• Relevant experience in site supervision, construction, installation, or engineering project execution.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission lines, or related projects is an advantage.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of site execution procedures, inspection processes, and quality control.
• Understanding of construction methods, material requirements, and work planning.
• Familiarity with site reporting and documentation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, where required.
• Awareness of site safety procedures and applicable project standards.
