Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to work in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting, depending on project requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience coordinating with project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, layouts and technical specifications.
• Monitor installation of electrical panels, cabling, lighting, earthing and power distribution systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation and other project teams.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Monitor material requirements, equipment usage and work schedules.
• Ensure adherence to site safety requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site supervisors.
• Support project handover, documentation and maintenance activities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Diploma holders may be considered if permitted by the employer and suitable for the role.

Experience

• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, project execution, installation or maintenance.
• Experience in the relevant industry or project type is preferred.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, where required.
• Knowledge of applicable Saudi electrical codes and project standards is an advantage.
